Smooth + Ultra Gameplay on the Realme 7 Pro?
The Realme 7 Pro has default settings of SMooth+Ultra which gives you a 40fps gameplay. The fps remain stable around 37-40fps during the majority of the times in Erangel. In close range fights, the frame rate can go to 30fps in crowded areas like apartments, Yasnaya, or Georgopol City but the fps remains constant around 40fps. You can see the fps dipping down to 30 at times while landing at such locations, but it stabilizes to 40fps as the game progresses.
In the Sanhok-Bootcamp test, the frame rate takes a significant hit to around 27-30fps during landing when 4-5 teams are landing alongside us at Bootcamp. The frame rate hovers between 30-35fps in Sanhok. During close-range fights, the frame rate is around 30fps. There are no major lags, but slight frame drops can be noticed with many enemies around. But the game remains very playable at an average of 30fps.
Can I get Smooth + Extreme settings in PUBG Mobile using GFX Tools on the Realme 7 Pro?
To get Smooth+Extreme settings on the Realme 7 Pro, we used GFX Tools for the same. Thi setting tried to push the frame rate to 60fps. Using GFX Tools, we landed at Pochinki, Military Base, and School Apartments where we got a frame rate of around 50fps, which can go down to 40fps during close range fights in Erangel. On Smooth+Extreme setting using GFX Tools on the Realme 7 Pro, we also landed at Sanhok-Bootcamp where results remained very similar. The frame rates are around 40fps during landing and hover around 40fps with 3-4 teams landing alongside us at Bootcamp. The experience is slightly better than the default Smooth+Ultra setting, but it’s not a true 60fps experience as you get on flagship devices.
Using 3rd party apps like GFX Tools to get more fps on your device can lead to a permanent ban on your ID. We at Gaming Josh are NOT responsible for any bans or suspended PUBG Mobile IDs for using such methods. We always recommend playing the game at settings that the OEM has provided. Users are free to use any turnarounds to get extra fps, but we shall NOT be held responsible for any complaints as mentioned.
Does the Realme 7 Pro support 90fps gameplay in PUBG Mobile?
NO, the Realme 7 Pro does NOT support 90fps gameplay as the refresh rate of the phone is 60Hz only. The maximum supported frame rate is locked at 40fps. You can try to push the frame rate to around 60fps using GFX Tools, but 90fps is totally out of the equation. As we said earlier, using GFX Tools can lead to suspension or permanent bans on your ID, so use it at your own choice. Gaming Josh shall take no responsibility for complaints in such cases.
Does the Realme 7 Pro heat during PUBG Mobile gameplay?
The Realme 7 Pro does not heat excessively during gaming. The device has a plastic unibody design, which dissipates heat efficiently. We conducted our testing without any case on the Realme 7 Pro. Using a case can cause heat to get rapped, resulting in the device getting a little warmer. We suggest that you should remove your case while gaming on any device, and in this way the Realme 7 Pro will not feel much warm to hold during extended sessions of gaming.
How is the gyroscope performance on the Realme 7 Pro?
The Realme 7 Pro has a dedicated gyroscope sensor. We tested the gyroscope at the ‘Always-ON’ setting at full 400 sensitivity. The gyro performance was very good, and the response was in real-time. There was no delay in gyroscope movement and 6x scope sprays can be controlled very well. Do note that the end recoil control always depends on the player handling the device.
Can we stream PUBG Mobile using the Realme 7 Pro?
Yes, you can stream games from the Realme 7 Pro as it has a 3.5mm headphone jack. You can use the same technique of screen-mirroring which we used to conduct the live gaming test of the Realme 7 Pro. Do note that you will require a PC or a laptop for streaming games using a screen-mirroring software and StreamLabs OBS. You can stream directly with internal audio of the game, talk to your teammates, and output the same sound on stream as well on this device.
How much battery is drained while gaming on the Realme 7 Pro?
The Realme 7 Pro can give you a battery life of around 5 hours for heavy gaming, with headphones. The screen brightness was set to 50% during our testing. In extended gaming sessions, the device can get a little warm which is very normal but this can cause the battery to drain a little faster, Using GFX Tools for getting 60fps also can drain the battery much faster. On a full 100% charge, the Realme 7 Pro can have an uninterrupted gaming session of around 6 hours of PUBG Mobile.
